HASCOM NETWORK’s RISK ASSESSMENT MANAGER for the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

The latest version of this product has been developed using our experience of health and safety within the construction industry, listening to the needs of our clients together with the views of customers of our previous CD–Rom based system. The text has recently been reviewed and updated to reflect recent changes in legislation including the Work at Height Regulations.

The package includes a comprehensive RISK ASSESSMENT MANUAL which has been integrated into the RAM as on–line electronic manual with the advantages of automated index and search facilities – so the user has a comprehensive guide to statutory requirements and practical advice on the principles of risk assessment – all a couple of mouse clicks away.

There are also sections on display screen equipment assessments, personal protective equipment and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

The Risk Assessment Manager software includes:
  • 85 generic risk assessments on construction related activities. (Example)
  • 50 examples of generic COSHH assessments (Example) for commonly used construction materials.
  • 12 examples of manual handling operations assessments (Example) , which can be adapted to particular work situations.
  • A facility to produce your own customised generic assessments for general work activities, hazardous substances and manual handling operations.
